The start and finish line of the race will be located at Polsat Plus Arena Gda\u0144sk. Registrations for the Energa Gda\u0144sk Marathon 2025 start on Friday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is worth hurrying up, because the first 100 people can sign up for a promotional price of PLN 159, then until the end of December 2024, a fee of PLN 189 for an individual start will apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the individual competition, the marathon route can also be covered in a 4-person relay, but that&#8217;s not all &#8211; the accompanying events of the Energa Gda\u0144sk Marathon 2025 will be a 5 km run and the Junior Energa Gda\u0144sk Marathon, i.e. races for the youngest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The start and finish of the event will be located at the Polsat Plus Arena Gda\u0144sk, which is known as one of the EURO 2012 arenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The marathon route is not known at the moment due to arrangements with road managers and the police, but the organizers&#8217; intention is for the competitors to see the most characteristic places in Gda\u0144sk during the run. The route is planned to run next to the European Solidarity Center, the Gda\u0144sk Shipyard gate, the Gda\u0144sk Old Town and Neptune, the Ergo Arena hall, as well as Ronald Reagan Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning of 2025, the 12-week training campaign Brooks, Be Ready! will begin, the aim of which will be to prepare all willing participants for the start. Participation in the trainings preparing for the start will be free of charge for those who register for the Energa Gda\u0144sk Marathon. In weeks 1-6, it will be one training session per week (Sunday), while in weeks 7-12, it will be two training sessions per week (Sunday and Wednesday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training sessions preparing for the start will be led by Marek Jaroszewski, a Polish athlete who, in his rich career, has won the Houston Marathon in 2004 with a time of 2:18:50. Marek Jaroszewski&#8217;s personal best in the marathon is 2:14:51 achieved in Austin (USA) in 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the Energa Gda\u0144sk Marathon website (gdanskmaraton.com) will feature training plans prepared by Marek Jaroszewski for 12 weeks of preparation (from January 12 to April 6, 2025).
