On February 11, 2026, the 23rd Gdańsk Sports Gala took place, honoring athletes, coaches, and sporting events held in the Tricity area. The Energa Gdańsk Marathon was named the 2025 Sports Event of the Year!

The Gdańsk Sports Gala is an annual celebration of the achievements of the local sports community, as well as a tribute to the work of athletes, coaches, and everyone involved in the development of sports in the city. Among these awards was the Energa Gdańsk Marathon as the sports event of the year 2025. Thank you for appreciating our event. As we prepare for the 2026 edition, we hope that this year's marathon will be even better!

This is also a recognition for everyone involved in organizing the marathon, our sponsors and partners, and our reliable volunteers, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the services ensuring the comfort and safety of our event, including the Police, Municipal Guard, Gdańsk Waterworks, and Gdańsk Buses and Trams.
